'Newspaper are more interested in selling newspaper than reporting news truthfully.'

I agree with this statement because companies are trying to sell newspaper instead of writing the truth because they need the newspaper  to sell. By lying in the newspaper people will find the story more interesting than the actual truth which may result in the buyer buying more so the newspaper companies make more profit. Although, some newspaper may say the truth some people actually believe the story and buy the story even if its a lie.  Newspaper paper companies are competition with many companies so it is vital for newspapers to sell and newspapers will only sell if the reader is engaged.  However, newspaper companies will not always lie then people would not buy the newspaper so the newspaper companies adapt different situation cleverly so that buyers are tricked.
